Did you know The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) reports that dryers and washing machines cause an average of 15,970 fires each year, with dryers causing 92% of them and an average of $200 million in property damage!

Make sure you are cleaning out your lint filters with every use and get a dryer clean out to prevent fire hazards!

With all the recent floods I want to share this article. Please know if your appliances were under water especially the salt water they need to be inspected properly. Salt water is very corrosive and can cause extensive damage.

Don’t be caught unprepared after a flood or hurricane. With our helpful tips you’ll know what to do to minimize damage and handle post-disaster repairs quickly.

Nobody wants mildew smell clothing! Front load washers tend to get an awful mildew smell. A great way to prevent this is by leaving the door open after the cycle, wiping the door gasket after every few cycles, and making sure to run a clean wash cycle or an empty cycle with cleaner once a month. We also recommend cleaning your filters monthly too. It’s better ton maintain your appliances than have to replace them!

Slow leaks really can ruin a good floor. This unit has a bad water inlet valve and needed the coils cleaned. However it was leaking for a long time before it was noticed by the homeowner. Make sure to double check your appliances for kinked hoses or small leaks to avoid this kind of damage.
