Championship Culture Coach FORWARD THINKING | RESULTS DRIVEN | FAITH | FEARLESS

06/10/2026

Last weekend we had the privilege of not only working with Western Wisconsin Soccer, but their parents too. 💙⚽

In the world of sports psychology, confidence in athletes comes from 3 things:
1. Body language 🧍
2. Self-talk 🧠
3. Where we put our focus 🎯
And guess what, all three are also completely within your control.

Confidence shows up in car ride home.

Think of it like a pitcher of water that’s full = your athlete’s greatness in sports.

If an athlete or parent talks about the ref’s bad call, Coach’s line-up or the weather. All of those things are out of their control, they are pouring out their own confidence!

Stay peaceful in your powers and
watch what happens.

Save this one and share it with an athlete, parent or coach.👇

Practice feels inconsistent and in post season, the moment was to big. We get it, and we can help.

Learn the story of a football team that improved their winning percentage by 45%. One thing they did was sit players for a 1/4 for missing practice. Imagine walking into a locker room where you can actually feel the synergy in the air.⚡

In this FREE webinar, we’re breaking down:
1. The 8 components of a Championship Culture.
2. Coaching Gen Z: What’s actually working in 2026.
3. Team interventions that actually work ie: Give your players a vote and a say in it. Do they think option A is better for our team or Option B? When coaches do that, teams go harder in a direction that you support.

Designed for college football coaches and serious HS Coaches.

The biggest secret for baseball parents? It’s your energy. ⚡️

If we want our kids to stay focused on the field, we have to stay grounded in the stands, modeling good body language is the first part of it.

1. Teach your player to stay peaceful in their power. 🧘‍♂️
Umpire made a bad call? Coach changed the lineup? Teach your player to breathe and let it go. When they stop fighting what they can’t control, they find the power to dominate what they can.

2. Set your own intention. ☁️
Before the first pitch, take a minute to meditate. My goal? Be the calmest parent at the game. If you aren’t stressed, your player won’t be either.

Success starts with the energy we bring to the dugout. ⚾️

Imagine you and your teammates spent zero minutes talking about the umpire, the weather, the opponent, or the line-up—what do you think would happen to your body language, confidence, and results?

We broke down this exact mindset shift during our recent virtual clinic with the Phoenix College baseball team. When you stop focusing on the uncontrollables and lock in on your performance, the game changes.

Coaches, how are you teaching your players to master the controllables? Drop your go-to mental training strategy in the comments below. 👇

Confidence isn’t something players find, it’s something coaches build daily.

3 simple ways a coach can build confidence:

1. Coach the present moment. View mistakes as part of success, not something to punish. When a player messes up, correct it and move on, don’t let them sit in it. The goal is learning, not fear.

2. Coach what they’re doing right, not just what they’re doing wrong. Catch and reinforce the behaviors you want repeated. Be specific, players build confidence from knowing exactly what they did well.

3. Give them a 20-second reset routine between downs when bad reps start stacking. Teach them how to fail, regulate emotions in line with their goals (EQ), and turn the page so one mistake doesn’t become five.

Confidence isn’t built in games, it’s built in how you coach every rep.

Coach Cori Close said it best: "Your talent sets the floor, but your character will determine the ceiling." Whether you’re on the court or in the office, your discipline, your integrity, and how you treat others, is what ultimately removes the ceiling.

Don't just build your skills. Build your soul.

The car ride home is where the game starts to change for him.

1. Critiquing every mistake on the drive home
2. Noticeable attitude after striking out
3. Having your vibe as a parent based on your son’s output on the field for the day.

It feels like you care.
But to him, it feels like pressure he can’t escape.

He won’t tell you it’s getting heavy.
He’ll just get quieter…
hold more in…
and start going through the motions.

Until the game he used to love
feels like something he has to do.

Sometimes it’s not bad coaching that pushes kids away
it’s feeling like they can never be enough.

Remind your player- his self worth isn’t tied to his stats on the baseball field. There is nothing he is going to do on the field in his game that makes him more worthy or less.

Send this to a baseball parent as a good reminder.
