It’s a love fest with some clients and this really was.

Let’s talk transparency. Showing up as you are, still figuring it out, and how it builds strong trust with potential customers and audiences of all kinds.

The topic came up during the latest Strategy Session with my Advisory Alliance members.

Small business owners and leaders want so much to get it right, and dare I say perfect.

In reality, we trust and respect people who are themselves.

Who share that they are still figuring things out and invite us to come along to figure it out together.

That transparency is its own level of expertise and value… that we are willing to invest in, seek out and refer people to.

So if you’re holding back, try some transparency and notice who comes forward.

Disclosure: my dog was nestled up next to me during the filming and I’d put this top on over my workout clothes.

Because I wanted to share the idea without worrying about too many bells and whistles.

Hopefully it worked.

Have you had a full circle moment?

This weekend I worked with the same coaching teacher I certified with 20 years ago.

I’ll admit I fangirled a bit being back in her orbit. Wanting to sit at her feet and soak up her wisdom.

I had forgotten how vital professional development is for coaches.

I’m a better coach when I’m a client.

I’m a better retreat leader (the next is September 22!) when I have been on retreat.

We need a chance to quiet the outside world, open ourselves up, look at assumptions from a fresh perspective.

I’m thrilled I took the time and I hope you’ll tell the difference when you work with me!
