This Saturday is a big day for Downtown Hudson... and a great opportunity to support our local business community!

ArtsFest Hudson will bring increased foot traffic throughout downtown from 12–5 PM, and many Hudson Business Association members will be participating as vendors, performers, or with sidewalk sales, specials, and extended offerings.

If you’re planning to attend, we encourage you to:
• Visit local shops and storefronts
• Take advantage of sidewalk sales and promotions
• Stop into businesses along your route

Events like this are a great reminder of the impact a busy downtown day can have for small businesses.

Whether you’re coming for the art, the music, or just to walk around: make a point to shop local while you’re here.

Saturday, May 2
ArtsFest: 12–5 PM
Downtown Hudson

We look forward to seeing a strong turnout in support of our business community!

Hudson Business Association’s Liz Puchala visited Kathy and Sam at Evolve Fitness & Nutrition to talk about their mission to help people in our community feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their everyday lives.

Evolve Fitness & Nutrition was founded three years ago with a simple but powerful goal: help people become healthier and happier. What started as a passion project has grown into a supportive, community-focused fitness space now led by Kathy, who stepped in as co-owner and nutrition health coach after seeing firsthand the impact the gym was having on its members.

At Evolve, the focus is on personalized, one-on-one training that meets each client where they are. • Customized fitness programming
• Nutrition coaching and support
• Low-impact and rehabilitation-focused training

A newer offering includes low-impact, low-resistance training, designed for individuals dealing with injuries, recovering from surgery, or looking to rebuild strength safely. Hudson Business Association’s Liz Puchala met with Stephen, owner of Hudson Hives, to talk about how a backyard hobby turned into one of downtown Hudson’s sweetest success stories!

Hudson Hives began nearly nine years ago with just two beehives in Stephen’s backyard. After harvesting more than 180 pounds of honey in the first year, what started as a personal passion quickly grew ... first into sales at Hudson’s original farmer’s market, and eventually into a storefront right on Main Street.

Today, Hudson Hives offers nine different varieties of honey, including two local honeys harvested right here in Hudson. The remaining selections come from pollinator beekeepers who partner with farmers to pollinate crops like blueberries, cranberries, and raspberries — which gives each honey its unique flavor profile. Nothing is added, the flavor comes straight from the hive.

Beyond honey, Hudson Hives is also launching Bee School this April: a hands-on educational experience designed for first-year beekeepers. Participants learn everything from installing a hive to maintaining it throughout the season, with monthly meetups and in-hive demonstrations.

Hudson Business Association’s Liz Puchala sat down with Andrew Millett, owner of Move Strong Physical Therapy, to talk about helping people in our community get out of pain, move better, and get back to doing what they love.

Founded about eight years ago, Move Strong Physical Therapy is located inside Cressey Sports Performance on Main Street in Hudson. What began as a one-person practice has grown into a team of multiple full-time physical therapists and specialists dedicated to providing a higher level of care and a better overall experience for patients.

Andrew, a physical therapist for over 16 years, started Move Strong after recognizing a gap between what patients deserved and what they were receiving elsewhere. His goal was simple: support people through injury and guide them all the way back to the activities that make life meaningful whether that’s running a marathon, weight training, or simply living an active lifestyle again.

Move Strong works primarily with youth athletes and active adults who are motivated to return to higher-level activities and performance goals. From sports injuries to chronic pain, the focus is always on long-term strength, mobility, and confidence.
