Enjoyed working with Daniel Stewart from Highbridge Concierge and Community Associations Institute - New England Chapter (CAI-NE) on this piece for Condo Media Magazine. Dan provides a great front-of-the-house operational perspective on an issue so many properties struggle with. Package theft is an issue that comes up frequently in the work I do with clients as well. When left unchecked, it can create escalating issues for a property and its residents. It's a topic on which both resident services and security converge.

This piece provides actionable items for properties to consider before, during, and after a security event that has litigation potential. Thank you Community Associations Institute - New England Chapter (CAI-NE) for the opportunity.

When I started in the field in 1985, technology was fairly limited, expensive and cumbersome. More years have passed than I care to admit but it has been exciting to see how security-related technology has developed and advanced over the years and become such an asset to security initiatives in all areas. A recent short piece I wrote for Condo Media Magazine was a great reminder of how these systems can significantly assist properties on a daily basis.

Exceptionally happy to be teaming up with CAI New England for their “deep drive” program regarding resident and building safety. The first piece is an article coming out on June 1st in Condo Media Magazine which provides insight into assessing physical security at your property. We’ll be doing a “Conversation with the Author” in mid-June to dig into that article a bit and then in mid-July, I will be teaming up with Attorney Ryan R. Severance for a panel discussion on the legal implications surrounding security in the residential setting. Please bring your questions and join us for these sessions if you can.
