Let life be luscious.
In the words of Shideh Lennon, “micro dose pleasure.”
In my words, “Beauty and pleasure is my duty.”
From the small simple waves of beauty that bring pleasure, like the package design for the corn in that last slide (for me). To the hunkier pleasures like vacation and concerts or what moves you.
In order not to have the cathartic release and snap bank from expansion into constriction, it’s important to learn to take sips of life.
And sometimes our internal pacing keep us from taking sips of pleasure throughout the day.
Even that coffee or tea you thoughtfully picked out could be tasted more.
That’s what I wanna do with you as your Somatic Coach.
My work complements your work with other healthcare providers and talk therapists.
I focus on the subtle cues of your body and guide your attention. This helps us hold the big things together so you can take sips.
The result is feeling more present and comfortable as your actual self and having more range to speak your choices.
How could you let life be more luscious?
Opening to more money by having a tough conversation about it or facing your budget?
Opening to love by witnessing integrating pains of the past?
Opening to opportunity by claiming your gifts and putting yourself in places where people can receive them?
Opening to healing by feeling prepared to navigate systems of modern and ancient medicine?
Opening to criticism so you can grow in your art and science?
Phew. I realize I said let life be luscious. That may sound daunting and if it does good get on the bus.
What isn’t luscious about claiming your life as is?
My biggest curiosity is how can we prepare ourselves to be fully alive in what’s next?
I’d like to gather with 7 other people to explore making life more luscious. Could that be you?
