One thing motherhood taught me is that capacity changes.
There are seasons where I can carry more, move faster, and juggle more things.
And then there are seasons where I have to be honest and say, “I do not have the capacity for that right now.”
That used to feel like failure.
Now I’m learning that it’s wisdom.
Because when I ignore my capacity, everybody eventually feels it.
My children feel it.
My home feels it.
My work feels it.
My spirit feels it.
I feel it.
Motherhood has taught me that being honest about my limits does not make me less capable.
It makes me more aware.
