The Hugo Fire Department responded to a shop fire in the area of South I Street last night between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Crews worked diligently to contain the fire and ensure the area was safe.

The Hugo Fire Department is gearing up for the 27th Annual Hugo Fire Truck Parade on Saturday, May 30, 2026, and the community is invited to come out and show support for the brave men and women who serve and protect our area every day!

This long-standing tradition brings together fire departments, families, local businesses, and community members for an afternoon of pride, fellowship, and hometown spirit. It’s more than a parade — it’s a celebration of service, dedication, and community involvement.

📍 Event Details:
🚒 Trucks arrive after 9:00 AM at Ed Wallace Ford in Hugo
⏰ Parade line-up begins at 1:30 PM
⭐ Parade starts at 2:00 PM

We encourage everyone to line the streets, support our local fire departments, and help make this year’s parade one to remember. Bring your family, invite your friends, and help us continue honoring this meaningful community tradition.
