Dove season starts tomorrow! Please keep utility equipment out of your sights. Shooting at or near fiber lines, power lines, poles, transformers, or other utility equipment can cause costly damage, service outages, and, most importantly, create a serious safety hazard.

DOVE SEASON KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 1!

As hunters head to the fields for the start of dove season in Oklahoma, we want to remind everyone to never shoot at or near electrical or fiber equipment, including power lines, poles, transformers, fiber lines, and other utility infrastructure. Damaging this equipment can lead to costly repairs and unnecessary power or internet outages, but most importantly, it is extremely dangerous.

Enjoy the hunt, stay safe, and always know what’s beyond your target. For season dates, regulations, licensing information, bag limits, public hunting areas, and everything else you need to know before heading out, visit the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC)!

FIBER RESTORATION UPDATE| August 21, 2026 | 3:30 PM

As many of you are aware, Monday’s storm caused major damage to both our electric and fiber systems. Now that our electric crews have fully restored power to all Lake Region electric members, we want to provide an update on our fiber restoration efforts.

Our fiber crews have been following behind our electric crews, repairing damaged fiber infrastructure. They are now working on individual service drops and other remaining damage throughout the system. Our fiber linemen will continue working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service to all affected fiber customers.

If you have a downed fiber line or damaged service drop and have not already reported it, please let us know. If you have already reported the issue, there is no need to report it again. To report a fiber outage, downed line, or other technical issue, please submit a ticket through your SmartHub account or by calling 918-772-2526.

We appreciate your patience as our crews continue working through the damage left behind by Monday’s storm. Thank you for being a Lake Region Fiber customer!
