FIBER OUTAGE: TENKILLER HARBOR AREA

Good afternoon, Lake Region! We are currently experiencing a fiber outage affecting approximately 240 subscribers in the Tenkiller Harbor area. The cause of the outage has been determined to be vandalism. Our fiber crews are working to make the necessary repairs and will continue working into the evening to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you notice suspicious activity around power lines, fiber lines, utility poles, cabinets or other Lake Region equipment, please report it to local law enforcement. Never approach or confront anyone. Vandalism and theft cause unnecessary outages and costly repairs that ultimately impact the members and fiber customers we serve.

Before setting up a stand, scouting an area or taking aim, always look up and check for overhead power and fiber lines. Never place a tree stand or blind near utility lines, and never shoot at power lines, fiber lines or utility equipment. Protect yourself and help prevent power outages and fiber internet service disruptions.

Good morning, Lake Region! We have some VERY IMPORTANT information to share with our members and fiber subscribers!

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE: SMARTHUB UPGRADES COMING SOON!

We're making improvements to better serve you! Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) and Lake Region Technology & Communications (LRTC) are upgrading our customer management system to provide greater security, improved efficiency and a more convenient SmartHub experience. Our account systems and SmartHub will be OFFLINE November 10–15, 2026. Here's what you need to know:

Office Closures: Our Wagoner and Tahlequah offices will be closed November 10–16 and will reopen Tuesday, November 17. Our Hulbert headquarters will remain open.

Payments: Online and phone payments will be unavailable. Cash or check payments can still be made at our Hulbert headquarters, and checks can be mailed. Payments received during this time will be securely held and processed November 16.

Account Access: SmartHub, service transfers, AutoPay changes and contact information updates will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

Disconnections: Disconnections for nonpayment will be suspended during the week of November 10. Normal procedures will resume November 16.

Outage Reporting & Technical Support: Electric outage reporting and 24/7 LRTC technical support will NOT be affected. Call 918-772-2526 to report outages or service issues.

Now, for the good news! TWO ACCOUNTS, ONE PLACE!
Beginning November 16, LREC members and LRTC fiber subscribers will have access to an improved SmartHub experience! Instead of using separate apps for electric and fiber accounts, you'll be able to manage both in one convenient location.

We know these temporary interruptions may be inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience as we make these important improvements! Additional information and instructions will be available on our website or SmartHub. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post!
