Happy National Puppy Day! This month's 2021 QualityCare Connect Pet feature is River, the 9-month-old chocolate lab mix!

River belongs to ArmadaHealth's Senior Director of Operations, E. Cremen.

He found his forever home this past September when he was just 3 months old and he has grown into a large, quirky pup.

For instance, he loves getting his hindquarters scratched and has figured out how to position his backside for optimal petting. River also loves tennis balls and sticks- so much so that he carries around multiple tennis balls in his mouth at a time, a habit that makes for interesting walks!

River has some training to do in the excitement department. He just wants to play, all the time! So, beware if you lean down to pet him, River will jump at your face and smack you with a kiss before you can even blink your eyes.

At the end of the day, River is just a big love. He loves to snuggle and sits on things – much like a human would. He can often be found sitting on the bottom stair in his house or on one of his human siblings!

We’re so happy that River found his people and glad he’s now officially part of the ArmadaHealth team, too! Welcome to the family, River!

This month's 2021 QualityCare Connect Pet feature is Hudson, the five-year-old rescued Weimaraner Mix!

Hudson belongs to ArmadaHealth's Director of Human Resources, Allyson and she has quite the story:

Hudson was found tied to a pole outside of a Dollar General in Rome, Georgia. She was taken to a high kill shelter and then pulled by a rescue group in Maryland. Allyson went to the rescue to meet a different dog and Hudson stole her heart, barreling into the room to introduce herself. Suffice it to say– Allyson was in love.

Even though Hudson has only lived with her new family for a month, her parents are really getting to know a lot about her. For instance, her face and ears are incredibly soft, and she wears her fancy speckled socks every day. She’s goofy, playful and loves wrestling with her dad, has no fear of the water and is definitely a bird dog (she also gets murder in her eyes when she sees a squirrel.) She loves ice cubes, hates lettuce and has a little bit of a naughty streak.

We’re so happy that Hudson found her new parents and glad she’s now officially part of the ArmadaHealth team, too! Welcome to the family, Hudson!

This week we're kicking off our 2021 QualityCare Connect Pet feature with Piku, the Cockapoo!

Piku belongs to ArmadaHealth's CIO, Deepak. She likes chewing anything she can sink her teeth into and loves to run around like crazy in the backyard. A fun fact about Piku: she is great at high jumps! In fact, she's so good that she could probably compete in canine Olympics... perhaps even set a record.

Now, more than ever, pets are providing many of us with a much-needed hiatus from the crazy world around us. So whether your furry pals like Piku are standing in as your co-workers, companions, or, simply, comedic relief, be sure to give them extra love during this time of uncertainty.
