But I can't legally say that...

Despite being at the top of the global food chain and industrial developmental ladder, the United States has a poor track record for delivering uncontaminated drinking water to the public. Even the nicest restaurants are guilty of serving you directly from the tap. It's time to get real about the 't...

If you want clean water, then you will have to start with rainwater. It's recently distilled and has not touched the ground where the arsenic and many, many other chemicals and pharmaceuticals are picked up. Even the pollution in the air is reduced or eliminated by a well-designed rain harvesting system. Or, just go for the bottle and pay ten times as much.

The Food and Drug Administration has not yet recalled either brand.

Actually, it could be a GOOD THING for private citizens and General Contractors as well as all who are in the Rainwater Harvesting business. All that really happens is that the State is no longer in the enforcement business. There can still be an Association or union license enforced by the organization providing training, testing, and certification. Civil penalties instead of criminal ones. Saves the state a lot of money and if you want to pay more and hire a certified plumber, you can... you just don't HAVE TO. The rainwater business, however, just got a lot better. Certification by the American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA), and others, will still make it possible to find a qualified contractor if they choose to do so. And if not, as always; buyer beware!

Thousands expected to attend rally on June 14th at the State Capitol Building to save licensed plumbing in Texas.
