As summer comes to a close and our interns head back to school, we’re looking back on a summer full of new experiences, connections, and plenty of fun.

This year, 13 interns joined teams across OFS, gained hands-on experience, built new skills, and took on projects that made an impact. Along the way, they made connections, gave back to the community, toured behind the scenes, got hands-on building furniture, celebrated Design Days, explored Cool Springs on ATVs, and ultimately, became part of our culture.

They learned from guest speakers Aaron Estabrook and Rachael Kluesner, who shared practical tips on personal branding and personal finance to help prepare them for what’s next.

To our 2026 interns: thank you for the energy, ideas, and impact you brought to OFS this summer. We loved having you as part of our team and can’t wait to see what you do.

Congratulations to Huntingburg Machine Works, the winner of this year’s team competition at the 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run!

Thank you for showing up, pushing one another forward, and running with purpose. Your teamwork reflects the spirit of this event. To come together to honor our fallen heroes, support our first responders, and carry their legacies forward.

We’re grateful to every team that joined us and made each step meaningful.

This past Saturday, Huntingburg Machine Works was proud to be the Top Sponsor of OFS’s 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run.

We were also proud to have several of our team members participate in the 5K and 10K Trail & Ruck Run alongside our community.

This meaningful event honors our military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all those who lost their lives on 9/11 and in the wars that followed.

We are honored to support an event that brings our community together to remember, honor, and show appreciation for the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 6th Annual Honor and Remember Run! Together, we honored our fallen heroes and raised funds to support the Jasper Police Department and Huntingburg Police Department and their service to our communities.

A special thank you to all our ceremony speakers for sharing powerful stories during our opening ceremony and reminding us of the meaning behind every step.

We’re grateful for the incredible support of our runners, attendees, sponsors, and volunteers. Your participation helped us honor our heroes, support our first responders, and come together in a shared mission of honor, remembrance, and service.
