I have officially posted everyday for a week, a feat I did not even know was possible. I’ve been enjoying my artistic process lately, which goes as follows: Scribbley pencil sketches. Outline in 05 Micron. Erase pencil scribbles. Scan sketchbook. Image trace in Illustrator. Add color in Illustrator. PHOTOSHOP(my truest love) ISNT EVEN INVOLVED!!!!! For some reason this way of creating feels much more personal, it feels like I am posting my diary online which is fun and exhilarating.

I have made a decision! A November decision. And that decision is to have a Quantity Over Quality month. I have boxed myself into an uninspired corner of fear. Fear that I'll get worse instead of better. Fear that I won't make something perfect. Fear that I desperately need to let go from my mind. I have found that I escape the creative jitters best when I just pump out a bunch of work until I find my groove again. So cheers to finding a new groove and expect some post spam.

I've got a few more spooky images yet to share before All Hallows Eve.
Wow, okay, I'm going to ramble for a minute because this was my first photoshoot that wasn't just with a pal for fun (even though Chrisi is a pal and this was very fun 😜). I played the photographer role which is new for me. Editing is my expertise and photography scares the s**t out of me. But once I got in there and got comfortable it was a blast. I'm happy I conqured my fears and now feel guilty for telling all my teachers "hell no" when they told me to take a photography class. I'm excited to keep taking pictures in the future. And Chrisi thank you for your patience and for being my first photography client. 💖
