During the summer of 2015 in Berkley, CA , a balcony collapsed killing 6 people in their early 20s. The collapse was due to the contractor ignoring material and plan specifications for the apartments. The contactor responsible has had his license revoked but will be able to apply for renewal in 2022. This video is of the new coverage on the day of the accident.

The general contractor responsible for the building of an apartment complex in Berkeley where a balcony collapsed on June 2015, killing six people has had its license revoked.
