Here are some shots of the just-opened Iconic Style exhibition I installed at Collected Detroit. This show runs until Jan 21st '23. Always a pleasure to work and create here (I take no credit for the furniture). Mid-Century Modern artists along with Iconic Detroit artists including two and three-dimensional art, furniture, jewelry, sculpture, light fixtures … Le Corbusier, Aldo Londi, George Rouault, Renee Radell, David Barr, Olayami Dabls, the Saarinens – Eliel, Eero, Eric and Eric’s mother, Lilian Swann Saarinen, Aldo Londi, Richard Jerzy, Artis Lane, John Glick, Tom Brun, Paul Evans, Harry Bertoia, Urban Jupena, Mies van der Rohe, Eileen Gray, Charles & Ray Eames, Arne Jacobsen, Florence Knoll.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable time yesterday at Collected Detroit installing the Bees+Biomimicry exhibition for Metropolitan Museum of Design Detroit MM-O-DD. Featuring twelve artists, this really came together very nicely!

The Juneteenth exhibition at Collected Detroit, BAM: My Art Is My Voice, has been extended to Aug 14th. Check out this stunning, historical show. I had the pleasure of installing it in addition to working with artists Judy Bowman, Laura D. Gibson, Henry Heading, Onzie Deandre Norman and Darin Darby. The gallery also currently features the Sisters of The Cloth exhibition featuring fiber artists Najma Ma'at and Mandisa Smith, installed by Chris Schneider.

This week had me returning to Collected Detroit and installing the BAM My Art is My Voice exhibition. Opening this Saturday and featuring artists Judy Bowman, Laura D. Gibson, Henry Heading, Onzie Deandre Norman and Darin Darby, the stellar level of 70+ artworks in this historical show will take your breath away. I know I was in awe as I had the pleasure of working with each piece. Also opening Saturday at Collected Detroit is Sisters of The Cloth, a beautiful collection of fiber works by Najma Ma'at and Mandisa Smith. Starting off the new year with a partnership with the new Henry Ford Cancer Institute - Detroit. With the grand opening today, I had the pleasure of curating and installing this four-artist inaugural exhibition for the public art gallery in this impressive new facility. Featured artists include; Pamela Alexander , Harah Frost , Lucille Nawara and Dawn Stringer .

We had a wonderfully fulfilling week installing the new Art In The Office exhibition I curated for The Kresge Foundation HQ. In addition to 18 other artists, one of the highlights is this painting by Ijania Cortez which we placed in the boardroom. Titled "The War Cry", the figure is Detroit artist Brian Nickson. Thanks to Chris Schneider and Julian Wong for their splendid assistance.

Now at Collected Detroit; Artists Who Teach. This group exhibition showcases the artwork of 31 artist-teachers, all members of DATA: Detroit Art Teachers' Association. I had the pleasure of designing and installing this broad and varied show. It is on display until Oct 11th.
