Hi, 49 and Market Friends! It's been some time since my last journal spread and I thought of making one to get myself back on track.

I made this spread using The Quiet Observer which is yet another collection that is versatile and can be used in so many different ways. I love the soft muted colors from this collection and it's definitely a great set of products to use for nature themed projects and pages.

The Mouse & Co. collection instantly reminds me of childhood. Disney was such a big part of growing up for so many of us. It taught me to dream a little bigger, believe in happy endings, find magic in the smallest things and, most importantly, never really outgrow my imagination.

I’ve never been to Disneyland, but it’s one of those places I’ve always imagined visiting someday. Until then, I suppose I can create my own little piece of Disney magic on a scrapbook page.

The Mouse & Co. collection by 49 and Market was perfect for bringing that feeling to life. I had so much fun making the rosettes! I paired my handmade ones with the rosettes from the collection, and I love how they work together to add all those layers and dimension to the page.

Maybe that’s what this page is really about — holding on to a little bit of the child who still believes in magic.

Wow ! What can I say? I just love Coastal Soul by Joanne Bain. It ticks all the boxes for me. It was perfect for documenting my daughter having a little photo shoot on her ‘Baby Moon holiday’ with us.
I loved layering up the die cut elements and laser die cut botanicals creating clusters around the layout. The frame in the die cut elements gave the perfect solution to mounting my photos.
I distressed and inked the edges of the laser and die cuts using the 49 and Market /Ranger inks to bring a little more definition to the layout. I raised them on sticky fixers giving extra dimension. The chipboard titles finished the layout beautifully.
I am so pleased with how it turned out.

There’s nothing better than a lunch or coffee with the girls. So often we forget to document these everyday moments but it is important to remember the little things too!

Country Heart Cafe is the perfect way to document those happy memories. The fabulous sunflowers contrast the fun coffee and cake elements (and no calories).
I fell in love with the splashes and coffee rings in the rub ons. These inspired me to create a large coffee ring on the background. I diluted Cold Brew reinker and lightly painted around the circle - don’t be too precise so it looks like authentic.
Adding sunflower clusters to create a real wow factor and balance the cluster of elements.

The vintage aesthetic and muted palette of the 49 and Market's Faded Memory Lane collection perfectly complement this photo of the dilapidated and slightly eerie interior of Eastern State Penitentiary. Opened in Pennsylvania almost 200 years ago, the prison has long since closed but its historic walls and haunting atmosphere remain. The 49 and Market and Sizzix stencils enhanced the aged look of the layout when paired with 49 and Market and Ranger Dye Inks in Cold Brew and Dress Blues, along with modeling paste to add texture and dimension. The title, 1829, marks the year Eastern State Penitentiary first opened. The Sizzix and 49 and Market Number dies were the perfect size, and the capability of this set to cut a darker shadow for the numbers helped it to stand out against the background.

🏕️🎉 HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY banner made entirely from the all new Campfire Memories collection! I wanted something way more special than a store-bought banner for my son's camping themed party, so I used the new Campfire Memories collection to bring it to life. Kraft letters cut on my Cricut (doubled up for thickness!), photos from birth to age 8 layered right on top, and embellished with all the cutest camping die cuts and chipboard pieces. Fun fact: his very first photo at 2 months old is from his first ever camping trip 😭 could not have planned that better myself.

4 layers, punched eyelets, jute twine, and SO much love went into this one. This is hands down one of my favorite projects I've ever made 🥹 Full tutorial is up on YouTube now if you want to see exactly how I built it start to finish 🔨📸
