The Turquoise Pearl Home Decor and Special Gifts The story behind The Turquoise Pearl! Getting a divorce at 30 was the last thing I ever thought would happen! So, I took a leap!

So many of my hopes for mine and the kids future just gone...
once I got over the shock (I mean to say once I had many visits with a therapist �)
I become determined that our future was going to become more than I ever could have dreamed!! I was going to show my kids that I am determined and that God can turn a bad situation around for the better! After some causal conversations with other small

business owners, my wheels started spinning. What did I want to bring to this town! What could I offer that we didn’t really already have? That month I saw a Facebook post about a shop on the square that was going to be closing and it felt like God telling me it was time! I remember praying “God if this isn’t your will stop me in a BIG way!” He didn’t stop me, in fact, he has blessed me in ways I couldn’t have imagined! Thank God for amazing friends and family and more so thank you for community support !! I hope my kids look back and see that it’s ok to fail, it’s ok to get down but, then pick yourself up by your bootstraps and give it to God! I want The Turquoise Pearl to be the shop you come to for the perfect gift for the hard to buy for person in your life! I want people from out of town to be able to stop in and take something back with them, that was custom made by someone from our community! I am so proud to tell people that when they shop here, they aren’t just supporting my small business but they are also supporting over 20 other small businesses, most of which are from Madison County as well! With support from shoppers like you and if God is willing I hope I am able to remain a business owner in this awesome community of mine for years to come
