As we end Women’s History Month, but never the celebration of women, we want to bring your attention to Tawana Eutsey! She has been contributing to the HBCU program since it has started and we are truly grateful!

This Women’s History Month Spotlight goes to Denise Wimbish Myhandand who is a constant supporter of our HBCU program!

Denise Myhand is a creative entrepreneur and co-founder of JLD Publishing, Inc., where she develops word search books, journals, and art that inspire creativity, reflection, and connection. With a background in finance and a passion for storytelling, she blends strategy with creativity to build thoughtful, engaging products.

She is also the creator behind So Amazing Black Culture, a signature brand dedicated to celebrating the creativity, heart, soul, and achievements of Black culture. We are still celebrating Women’s History Month and we have the pleasure of celebrating DrMarcy J Watkins who is a constant supporter/sponsor of our HBCU program!

Dr. Marcy J. Watkins currently resides in Madison, AL and is a 1993 graduate of Tanner High School. She is employed with Ability Plus, Inc. where she is the Chief Operating Officer; providing residential and behavior services for individuals with intellectual and severe mental disabilities.

Marcy is the CEO and Co-Founder of Solutions 4 Success, LLC; providing telehealth counseling, and professional development services.

Marcy’s educational background includes attending the University of Alabama and Athens State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Behavior Science; Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Science Continuing Education in General Studies (Specializing in Psychology) from the University of West Alabama; a third Masters of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology and a PhD in Developmental Psychology concentrating in child and adolescent development from Walden University; establishing her as a Developmental Psychologist and subject matter expert.

She is featured as a co-author in Counseling Today and has self-published two reflective workbooks that intersect mental health and faith.

It’s still Women’s History Month and we would like to introduce you to Global Impact Member, Melanie CK Dockery, founder and artist of Creative Arts by Melanie, LLC, located at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment in Huntsville, Alabama.

She specializes in modern abstract and 3-D artwork while creating interactive art experiences that inspire creativity for all ages.
