Since our "business" is helping other businesses grow, especially in the area of fine tuning their staff (if it is 1 or 1,000), and to be the best they can be, especially if they are engaging customers, clients and patients, we tend to have very high standards when we do our own personal business.
We decided that we needed to give a huge shout out to Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville, Al. Here is our experience!
We had to drive our 38' Tiffin Motorhome in for a recalled part. We were happily greeted by Pat Carroll the Service Manager. Pat is the epitome of the "perfect example" put into practice on how a customer should be treated. Although, we had a rocky start initially with our first contact with a service advisor, Pat erased any concerns we had and it was clear he had that department shaped up! The "eat of the floor" cleanliness is impressive! The advisors desk are inviting and a rustic design that really invites the customer to want to sit down. He said we could come back in 24 hours to pick her up. The service experience actually makes you look forward to bringing your vehicle in, which is important. The service department is where you will be spending your time after you purchase. This service department is so spot on, I would drive well over an hour easy to have my car serviced here, even if I lived to a closer one.
Now, the other very impressive part of this visit was the vision of Cathy Anderson! Recently opened a year ago is Henry's Mustang Cafe. This is no boring, crowded with vinyl chairs, stale coffee and a few vending machines place to wait if you are spending any amount of time around the dealership! This is an impressive, rustic, darling and inviting cafe! Breakfast, lunch until 2pm. We enjoyed the breakfast casserole! Yummy! We saw other awesome meals of french toast and pancakes! We witnessed a cracker jack, engaging staff and great prices! The manager there truly loves his job and has a true commitment to Ms. Anderson and her vision. Within the first few minutes of speaking to him, we realized this was a valuable employee for her, he has her back! We know that his commitment is there and loyalty because of the commitment and dedication that Ms. Anderson has to her staff and continued forward thinking she has for the business. With never meeting Ms. Anderson, we hope to have the honor to do so, she appears to do everything a business needs to do and more to be a success! Woody Anderson Ford is a prime example of having a business plan, training the staff not only how to do their jobs, how to treat their customers, but letting them know in many ways how valued they are. She obviously knows that all businesses need to change and grow. She knows the importance of a "great" team, because no one can go it alone. I suspect she knows the importance of wise counsel, because none of us knows it all!
