Vestibular rehabilitation is getting a little more engaging with the help of technology developed right here at CFD Research!

A recent University of Kansas Medical Center article highlights VestRx, an interactive rehabilitation platform developed by CFD Research with clinical expertise from Dr. Linda D’Silva and her team at KU Medical Center. Their research has explored how VestRx can help patients perform at-home vestibular exercises more accurately while making them more engaging and motivating.

After years of research and collaboration, VestRx is now continuing its journey to market through CFD Research spin-off TheraVista Health, led by CEO Jesse Hercules.

We’re excited to see this technology continue to move forward and proud of the CFD Research team behind its development, including Nathan Pickle, Riley Sheehan, and Garrett Tuer!

Another exciting step forward in supporting warfighter health and readiness!

CFD Research has been awarded a $1.2 million contract from the Defense Health Agency SBIR Program to advance our Blast Overpressure (BOP) Mobile App, a technology designed to help monitor and estimate blast exposure during military training.

By combining advanced modeling, mobile technology, and analytics, this effort will give instructors and military leaders practical tools to better understand blast exposure and support warfighter brain health, safety, and readiness.

Another exciting win for our team and the future of air defense!

CFD Research has been awarded a $1.8 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop an AI-driven framework that will improve the speed, reliability, and efficiency of infrared systems used to detect and track airborne targets.

By combining advanced AI and machine learning with our sensing expertise, this effort will help strengthen threat detection capabilities while addressing the demanding conditions and hardware limitations of operational airborne platforms.
