CMMC UPDATE! The proposed Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) rule has OFFICIALLY been submitted to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA). With 90-120 days to review the rule, the expected publication date will be September - October 2024 timeframe. Once published in the Federal Register, the rule will be effective 60 days later, at that time - the CMMC Program will be official!

We are thrilled to announce that Riverstone Solutions has been selected to the prestigious NewSpace Ignitor Program! The NewSpace Ignitor is a purpose-built, first-of-its-kind incubator-like program designed to reduce barriers space companies face in moving their concepts beyond R&D. Founded in Albuquerque, NM, the program is made possible in partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).

We are honored to be a part of this select group within the NewSpace Nexus ecosystem, partnering with the space industrial base, industry advisors, and government agencies. NewSpace Nexus will provide a collaborative channel to extend our proven engineering and cybersecurity concepts to the Space Industry!

Enjoyed the CUI-CON conference this week. Mr. Buddy Dees, Director, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program, Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer gave the keynote, followed by an update from DCMA DIBCAC and a C3PAO panel. Great speakers, content and networking. I was able to bring my parents along since I don’t get to see them often. Appreciate the informative update AND the after hours time with family!
