The US has surpassed 50GW of annual nameplate capacity for module capacity, according to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).

As 2024 comes to a close, we at Runergy Alabama are proud to reflect on a year of milestones and achievements that position us for an exciting 2025. This year, we:

-Hosted our first Customer Appreciation Event in April, celebrating partnerships with key customers.

-Partnered with local colleges and high schools to inspire the next generation of solar innovators.

-Launched 24/7 operations in October, reaching a production rate of 3,000 modules per day per line, equal to 1.8 MW daily.

-Shipped our first containers of solar modules in November, marking a major milestone for our Huntsville facility.

These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work of our team, the support of our community, and the trust of our partners.

As we look to 2025, we remain committed to advancing clean energy, driving innovation, and building a brighter, more sustainable future.

We're excited to take part in this incredible program!

🎉 Exciting day at Drake State! We officially launched our Huntsville Tech FAME chapter with amazing partners: Bruderer Machinery Huntsville, Blue Origin, KOHLER, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, Plasma Processes, Runergy Alabama, and Toyota Alabama. 🤝

This partnership paves the way for our Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program, starting in 2025, to train the next generation of skilled technicians. Together, we’re shaping the future of advanced manufacturing!

Another Christmas Parade is "in the bag!"

We had a great time giving out goodies to the everyone who weathered the cold with us at the Huntsville Christmas Parade. We loved sharing holiday cheer and pride in our solar panels made in Huntsville, Alabama!

A very special thanks to Elite Management Solutions for supporting us and Woody Anderson Ford providing an all-electric F-150 Lightning to make this the best parade yet!

This Thanksgiving, we are filled with gratitude for an incredible year of hard work, innovation, and community support.

We hope you enjoy your time with loved ones this holiday season. A quick reminder: our facility will be closed from Thursday, November 28th to Sunday, December 1st. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 2nd.

Today, we celebrate a major achievement: the first shipment of solar modules from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks an incredible step forward in our mission to deliver innovative, high-efficiency solar solutions to meet the growing demand for energy across the United States.

In Just 45 Days of Operations:

-Producing 2,200 modules per day per production line
-Generating 1.27 MW of solar capacity daily
-Achieving an impressive 39 seconds per module throughput

This success reflects the dedication, innovation, and teamwork of the entire Runergy Alabama team. We’re grateful to our employees, partners, and the Huntsville community for making this milestone possible.
