We'd like to recognize James "Jimmy" Wood, our outstanding TUTOR
Help Desk Manager, for this month's Employee Recognition.

When asked what he likes most about TU he said, "I enjoy working for The Unconventional because of its long-standing mission of supporting the armed forces and hiring veterans whenever possible. I think it is awesome, the reverence that the company has for these individuals."

Jimmy is married with two stepsons and loves to spend his time outside of work with his family and friends for game nights and pool parties. He is a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise, including the expanded universe (Legends more so than canon) and also enjoys teaching and playing chess with his 11-year-old son.
He and his family enjoy their backyard pond, which is home to a family of ducks, a few snapping turtles—including one his 8-year-old son named Bowser—and a couple of woodchucks his son named Mario and Luigi!

We'd like to recognize Nicholas Reitz, our exceptional TUTOR Academic Coordinator, for this month's Employee Recognition.

The company is committed to providing innovative solutions to training demands, and embraces the experience offered by its personnel to provide meaningful results to its clients/customers.”

Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys physical fitness, hiking, and spending time outdoors. His interest in different cultures and peoples has led to traveling both CONUS and OCONUS, learning whenever possible about the world we live in. Since departing active service, he has greatly enjoyed the time spent reconnecting with friends and family and returning to his roots.
