It’s official. Revolution Medicine’s RAS inhibitor RASONQUE™ (daraxonrasib) has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer.

We’ve been anticipating this moment since April, when early Phase 3 data were released showing that the RAS inhibitor nearly doubled overall survival compared with chemotherapy. The excitement grew at ASCO, where additional data showing a significant improvement in progression-free survival drew a standing ovation from a standing-room only crowd.

This approval is truly life-changing for pancreatic cancer patients and represents important validation of RAS-targeted therapies to transform the treatment landscape for cancers long-considered to be undruggable.

AstraZeneca’s investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) sonesitatug vedotin (Sone-Ve) improved overall survival in patients with CLDN18.2-positive advanced gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancers.

Evaluated in the CLARITY-Gastric01 Phase 3 trial, Sone-Ve is the first CLDN18.2-targeted ADC to demonstrate positive survival benefit in this setting, highlighting the continued momentum behind targeted ADC approaches in precision oncology.
