Update! Our power has been restored IN OUR NAME!!
A huge thank you to Cassandra at Huntsville Utilities, Caleb at Fox 54 and Grant Animal Clinic!
💵We are still in fundraiser mode as we have to raise the $3950 deposit, however, Huntsville Utilities has graciously given us 5 days to raise the funds.
🛒🛍️ And guess what, our thrift store will be open regular hours the rest of the week! Please come shop and get us closer to our goal.
💔 We won't be able to open our thrift store today, and we need your help.
Our volunteers have poured their hearts into sorting, organizing, and getting beautiful donations out on the floor for you. We were so excited to open our doors, and we're heartbroken to have to share this news.
Our power has been shut off. We recently learned that our landlord's surety bond with Huntsville Utilities lapsed, and the power to our building was cut as a result. We've been waiting two days for him to resolve it, and we still don't have answers.
The hardest part is that our adoption center is also without power. Right now, our team is scrambling to get our puppies, cats, and kittens somewhere safe and comfortable until the lights come back on.
🙏 A huge thank you to Grant Animal Clinic! The moment they heard our animals were in need, they stepped up and opened their doors, taking in as many as they have room for. We can't thank them enough for their kindness and generosity. If you're looking for a vet who truly cares, please show them some love and give them your business. They showed up for our animals, and we hope our community will show up for them. ❤️
Here's how you can help:
🐾 Foster a pet, even for a few days. We still urgently need temporary homes for puppies, cats, and kittens until power is restored.
💡 Donate toward a utility deposit and our current bill. If we can raise the deposit ourselves, we can get our power turned back on without waiting on anyone else. We will also need help paying our current bill since we have no income while the store is closed.

🏠 Help us find a new home. If you know of an available building in the area that could house our thrift store and adoption center, please reach out. We have so many other issues with this building owner that maybe this is a sign we need to move.
📣 Share this post. Every share helps us reach someone who might be able to help.
We know many of you were planning to shop with us and were looking at this post to see all the really nice things we have in the store but we couldn’t help but share a picture of some of the cute puppies in need. We're so grateful for your patience while we work through this. Every dollar spent in our store goes right back to the animals, and they're counting on us now more than ever.
Thank you for standing with us. We'll keep you updated as soon as we know more. ❤️
