We had a record-breaking day in Athens with our friends, the BBB North Alabama.

Last Friday we served 398 cars, collected 11,025 pounds of paper and documents for secure shredding and 2,362 pounds of electronics for recycling. In addition, the Athens Police Department properly disposed of 205 pounds of prescription medications.

Thank you Lindsay Lane Baptist Church for hosting the event and Family Security Credit Union and Cook's Pest Control, for supporting this community event.

Thank you to our partners and volunteers who made the day great.
