While the entire world is under some heavy energies as of this writing, the current influence of one in particular to presently note: Psyche in Scorpio. Psyche is an Asteroid Goddess of the Soul, and tightly connected to how we are internally wired. This placement and position is the literal uncovering of shadows and mysteries, especially in the esoteric realm. The art I created below represents her intense reflection gazing back at our own, while symbolically releasing the soul (butterfly) from its captivity into the beauty of who and what we are (if we know how to both look and see).

Psyche in our natal chart is where (house) our soul feels at home and what (sign) makes it feel most aligned. Psyche is a symbol of what lasts forever in your chart. By sign and house she shows what is eternal about you.

Psyche in Scorpio - the placement of where she is as of this writing - is an intense transit that brings forth all of the issues of the soul that need worked on in a practical sense especially the hidden you would likely rather not deal with. Those with the placement of Psyche in Scorpio in their birth chart in particular best communicate with the world in terms of going deeper and uncovering the vast mysteries of the universe. Superficial relationships and shallow depths are a nightmare for this oeuvre. Psyche in Scorpio seeks out the deeper things - it won’t hesitate to poke and prod to find out what lurks there.

If your own Psyche is placed in Scorpio, these energies may provide you with some latent relief, as those around you may find themselves going deeper than usual - which is where you most shine. Those with Psyche in Scorpio not only embrace the Chthonic goddess pantheon, they generally feel closer to them as a whole. Now is the time to explore the powers of your own shadow, unearthing the deeper reasons behind the inescapable patterns that have defined your life; remembering too that sometimes, the rest is the work. JUPITER RETROGRADES INTO PISCES: October 27/28

After its 5-month journey through Aries, Jupiter re-enters Pisces on Oct. 27 at 10:10 p.m. PDT. It will move back into Aries on Dec. 20.

When a planet returns to a sign through its retrograde motion, it attempts to clean up any loose ends. And so we hope that the stubborn inflation some countries have been experiencing will finally start easing in earnest in early 2023, when Jupiter leaves Pisces for good - well, for 12 years anyway!

We may also experience a global resurgence of compassion, healing and selfless giving (hmmm not sure what to think here though - the last peak of that Piscean energy coincided with the outpouring of support for the Ukraine in the spring).

In our personal lives, because Jupiter will be repositioning to turn direct and moving slow, it will grace some lucky birth dates mentioned below with an extended period of opportunities, from October 27 to December 20:

✨ Cancer born July 20-22
✨ Virgo born Sept. 20-22
✨ Scorpio born Nov. 20-22

This is the post (now a little dated) I wrote way back in 2021, when Jupiter was first moving into Pisces.

Inflation and high gas prices materialized (sadly) as predicted back then... but also! I was writing the post when Omicron first came onto the scene, and we didn’t yet know that the pandemic would start abating soon after. Astrology was telling us that better times would arrive in February-March 2022, as hard as it was to believe at the time. And that was when the Omicron surge went down, and hope was in sight, and pandemic and travel restrictions started to get relaxed in many countries.

While in Pisces, Jupiter will make some lovely planetary connections with the planets in Scorpio. More on this in my November forecast, but for now, mark these dates on your calendar:

✨ Nov. 14: Venus trine Jupiter - great for love OR money. The Sun will be trine Neptune on the same day, boosting compassion, spirituality, and artistic pursuits.

✨ Nov. 20: Sun trine Jupiter. If your birthday falls within 3 days of this date, you will have this lucky energy locked in your Solar Return chart - your temporary astrology chart for your 12 months ahead. Something in your life might get a nice boost of luck.

The Grace of Kali…..

Rising suddenly from the depths of the oceanic underworld in Tonga in a cataclysmic volcanic explosion, Kali is dancing ahead of Monday’s Wolf Full Moon at 27 Cancer with Sun conjunct Great Transformer Pluto in Capricorn and square Disruptor Eris in Aries.

This is a Moon of permanent endings - foreshadowing new beginnings - revealing whatever or whoever has become redundant or outgrown in your life. As Venus retrogrades through Saturn’s sign of Capricorn until January 29th, even your most precious beliefs and realisations about “Me and the life I thought I was living” may fall apart and dissolve in front of your eyes.

This kind of somatic and psychic restructuring is not the sweet, flowy spirituality-lite grace that is found all over Instagram, but a grace that is fierce and wild. It’s the grace of Kali, or that of the wrathful Tibetan goddesses or the Moon, a raging grace, a creative and destructive reorganisation of consciousness/reality.

24 hours after the 27° Cancer Full Moon opposite Pluto, on Tuesday January 18th Awakener Uranus turns forward at 10° Ta**us after 5 months of retrograde since August 19th 2021. The Sky God operates by delivering unpredictable shocks, reversals or insights that electrify you out of your comfort zone, teaching you to collaborate with the inevitable.

Something new - something eccentric - needs to break through into conscious awareness. Uranus transiting Ta**us magnetises the Body Electric - shocking your awareness back to your physicality, rattling your bones, your heart, your electric circuit.

Over the next two weeks, with Uranus direct in Ta**us and the karmic Node of Fate newly arrived at 30 Ta**us, anticipate insights and light bulb moments into new and possibly quite radical ways of enhancing your income, your physicality and your support structures.
