Had to save some pieces of this old, well loved quilt. How cute is this rabbit? Even got a cute belly button from the middle hexagon.

Why does it take so much time or cost so much for a Tshirt quilt
Well here’s this one with some numbers included.
1,106 hexagons that made 158 flowers. Each seam has to be sewn separately so that’s 3,576 seams.
Each hexagon and each Tshirt is backed so it won’t stretch, traced and cut.
After all those steps happen you quilt the top and bottom together and put on the outer binding to hold all the parts together.
This labor of love took roughly 280 hours.
What would you charge for something like this?

BTW it’s being gifted to my son-in-law that went to every Baylor event that had a free shirt so it could be huge. It’s 10 feet long by 9 feet wide.

Not sure what to do with grandma’s clothes, here’s one I hadn’t posted yet, I was too busy sewing.

Next quilt to find a new home. I do more than Tshirt quilts. I quilt for other people but don’t typically post those photos, just the ones I do from start to finish. They wanted as little of the shirt showing as possible, good thing I like puzzles.
