Story. Brand. Strategy. Message. 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐓.

The science behind successful marketing is relatively simple-- it's the strategy part that gets business owners tangled up. What to share.. How to Share It.. What to Say.. When to post... but it's so, so much more than just making a static carbon footprint on your .

One of the most successful tools I've used in my client strategy is AI integration for the past 1.5 years-ish. We're not talking about simply "how to" prompts or "Hey, , create a post about..."

I'm talking about an intricately nuanced method of working with your to understand who you are, your voice, your message, your audience and how to create strategy and content that authentically represents your business, your story and creates a strong CTA!

I can spend hours talking about AI.. I'm 91% sure that people don't call me to just "chat" because they know I'm going to tell them about all the latest and greatest integrations with AI I've built. It's incredibly significant to have at least 1 person in your organization properly trained on marketing and strategy using integrative AI! I think businesses that don't adopt AI within the next 3-5 years won't be businesses anymore. I said that.. 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘵.

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐨 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.

During college and beyond, I virtually contracted any and all work I could find to bring home the bacon. I was new out of college with a limited skillset-- but big goals of working for myself. I had to go through a lot of rough managers, some creepy bosses and I had to make a lot of mistakes to learn what I wanted (and didn't want) my business to look like one day.

"Stark Social Marketing" was my spunky start-up that helped a lot of people get started on this thing called . My design work and brand was all about "getting social" and connecting with your target audience. While the core of my business is still connecting with targeted messaging, my brand has evolved into something much more sophisticated than my 21 year old self.

I constantly tell new business owners -- "It's Ok to Reinvent Yourself." But I wasn't practicing my own message.

It hit me that my client staples based in analytics, AI integration, messaging, strategy, video & photography and branding was creating a dynamic in my business that wasn't properly promoted. So, I made the decision to match my brand with my messaging: Enter, 𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 & 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐀.

I have some REALLY exciting things coming up with year. E-courses, AI and video trainings for businesses and really integrative ways to connect with undetected business in your niche.

Over 22 years ago, I took a leap of faith and started . I contracted work thru Elance creating logos and building websites alongside my "8-5 straight-outta-college" marketing job. I took on challenging projects, taught myself and video, spent unbelievable amounts of time in front of YouTube watching and learning about algorithms, tools, CSS programming.. the list goes on and on.

And so 22 years later, it landed me here. The beautiful list of clients and businesses that have all become friends (and most of them like family)! It would be hard not to reflect on the relationships, the successes and the opportunities that presented themselves all these years. From being selected by Fort Worth Magazine as the center spread this August, book covers for some really special people, billboards of my work and now a whole slew of video work-- I'm excited for the new year.

Thank you to my friends and clients who have literally made my business with their referrals. To business owners who trust my work & analytics to make big decisions; and, of course, my family who give me the freedom and flexibility to "take a call" when needed to live out this BIG dream that I live for.

There's SO MUCH that goes into . It's how the outside perceives you and your business. It's your personality, your work ethic, your values, your identification thru colors and logos, the people and value you give to people who you. I have a friend whose love language is ! She is the queen of "pop bys" and holiday gift baskets to clients and super bowl pies and open house goodies. She gives and gives and gives some more... and then she complains about zero business. Love her. I do! But I always ask her, how much is this costing you per client? The response is always, "ohhhh it's not a lot... it's discount or stuff I collect. Or what's wrong with a little splurge here and there. They'll remember me.. " But the truth is, they won't remember you. And now you've spent money that isn't converting to business-- plain and simple. Gift giving is great.. but it's still a cost (and a significant one for many industries)! If you add up the $300 for open house gifts, the $60 per client for holiday pop bys, client events, client gifts at closing of business, etc. Are you generating enough business to cover these costs?
