Teaching your toddler or preschooler body parts doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s one of the easiest skills to build and it can make a big difference for communication, independence, and even doctor visits.

In my latest blog post, I share simple ways to teach body parts through everyday routines, play, songs, and books. You’ll also see how learning body parts can make sick season and doctor visits less stressful for both you and your child.

Hey Algorithm!!!
Send more tired parents my way—the ones who want calmer evenings, connected routines, and less yelling. I’ve got practical strategies, play ideas, and real-life support ready for them.

Because parenting isn’t supposed to feel like constant chaos. Sometimes you just need someone to break it down, make it doable, and remind you that you’re not failing—you’re just overwhelmed.

If you’re craving calm, connection, and a plan that actually works? You’re in the right place.

When life feels chaotic (and let’s be honest—it often does), routines and predictability are what keep me grounded as a parent.

Having a simple evening routine visual and story helps my daughter know what to expect—and helps me stay calm and connected instead of rushing or repeating myself.

If your evenings feel a little chaotic too, this might help.

✨ Grab my free evening routine visual + story to make bedtime smoother and more peaceful.

DM me and I will send the visual and story!

True story: I used to resist visuals and routines.

But here’s what I’ve learned — routines and predictability are everything when it comes to keeping my sanity as a parent.

Now, I love using visuals and pairing them with a simple story so my daughter can see and hear what’s expected, instead of me repeating directions all evening.

I created an evening routine visual and matching social story that makes bedtime smoother (for both of us 😅).

Sick season showed up at our door, and as much as I’d love to send it away, it’s also slowing us down in the best ways. More books, more cuddles, more reminders to rest.

To the parent who’s been patient through one more tantrum,
who feels touched out, overstimulated, and completely done — you’re not alone. 🫶🏻

On World Mental Health Day, remember that your mental health isn’t separate from your parenting. It’s part of it.

When you care for yourself, you show your child what it means to be kind, calm, and resilient.

Just like the leaves, our little ones are constantly growing and changing. Some days it’s messy, some days it’s magic — and most days it’s both.

Give yourself permission to slow down and notice the small moments this fall. 🍂

You’re doing better than you think.
