Even with the purest intentions, I made choices that dramatically shaped my future before fully considering the measured risks. ns.” In January 2024, I almost died, which caused me to look up to Jesus, who was consistently pursuing me without any help from me. I deserved a horrible death, but he drove my car, washed me clean, and gave me a new name with another chance to live for him. After 25 years of setting unrealistic expectations while making hard-pressed choices without accountability, whether I want to or not, I have learned that following Jesus daily is out of obedience to make him the Lord of my life.
