However, businesses in rural areas face the challenge of out migration to metropolitan areas, contributing to small businesses having no one to buy their business and few to purchase their goods and services. Recently I read a great biography about Abraham Lincoln, written by Doris Kearns Goodwin, Team of Rivals - The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln. Seriously? How many business meetings and seminars have you attended in the past three (3) years – in person, that is. Certainly, we have attended numerous video meetings and webinars – all of them thoroughly two-dimensional and effective – to a degree. But do these online meetings effectively replace in person meetings? I’m not so sure. Yet recently I made a presentation at a regional human resources group and ten (10) businesspeople attended....

Our Story

Founded in 1979, The Executive Suite was purchased shortly after by Elizabeth Harris-Moritz, who spent years helping to fulfill staffing needs on Cape Cod. With the goal of providing services for companies, she helped build up years of talent at an organization that was a cornerstone of the community.

In 2009, Warren Rutherford purchased the company, merging it with his existing company Rutherford Advisors, Inc., and took it in a new direction. A former municipal manager with established roots in the community, he recognized a need in the region for talent growth and management and expanded upon the company’s offerings to bring success to local businesses.

As employees, we live by one ethic: Treat your employees well, and they will pay dividends over the long term. An employee that feels valued is someone who will be willing to contribute to the organization’s mission, while also investing in their personal growth to help your organization reach your goals. Every day, we aim to help organizations achieve their goals, through effective management and talent acquisition.
