We're proud to be home to several nonprofits on Cape Cod doing incredibly important work in our community — The Samaritans on Cape Cod and the Islands are one of them.
Last month, members of our team attended Massachusetts’ 25th Annual Su***de Prevention Conference, joining colleagues and partners from across the Commonwealth for two days of learning, connection, and shared commitment to prevention.
Our staff participated in sessions focused on emerging trends in su***de prevention, best practices in community outreach, and innovative approaches to training and education. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on the evolving needs of our communities and to strengthen connections with others doing this critical work.
We were also excited to introduce two of our newest team members — Angela, our Manager of Training and Development, and Bill, our Community Outreach Coordinator — to colleagues and partners from across the Commonwealth. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside dedicated professionals from across the state and look forward to bringing new ideas and insights back to our programs and outreach efforts.
