Knudsen Sharpening Service is a small family run business started by Doyle Knudsen after he heard his hair-stylist daughter complaining that she couldn't find anyone reliable to sharpen her shears. Doyle decided to look into sharpening equipment, and after a while decided to purchase a sharpening wheel, very skeptical that he could actually make enough money to pay it off. Five years later, Doyle has not only paid off his first machine, but expanded his repertoire of sharpening skills to include clipper heads, chain saws, drill bits, ice skates and more. If it has a blade on it, chances are, Doyle can sharpen it. He takes great pride in his ability to not only put a sharp edge on blades, but to service and clean everything he sharpens-with a typical turnaround time of under 24 hours. What started out as a chance to help his daughter has transformed into a blossoming family business.
