An observation from working with our Seniors… they’ll talk about a 10 minute pop in visit/call or a simple chore done by you, for months!! Current pictures they can see & hold are everything! ☺️

As we settle into renewed routines for the school year, holiday planning & year end goals, time management can be difficult.

A challenge for every one of us: At least every now & then, flip the script in those tiny moments. Replace the words “I don’t have time” with “this is not a priority for me.” — It’ll change everything! ❤️❤️❤️

When working with our Seniors, be alert & stay aware. With romance in the air, our mostly single elderly population are especially targeted.🥺💔

With complete respect for one’s private (assumedly lucid) choices & with HIPPA in mind— It IS a tightrope we walk to be a good steward of one’s emotional, mental, physical, legal & financial health if something feels amiss.

Whether you’re caring for a Senior in their home, in the health field, a cashier somewhere, an Uber driver running suspicious errands, a banker making strange wires, or anyone else helping all these cuties find their way… Remember it’s important to look out for one another.

Your job may come with certain privacy policies that are in place for a reason, but if something doesn’t seem right to you— tell your closest Superior.

Then lead with respect, complete privacy & compassion. Sometimes extreme depression can follow if one is scammed for assets they cannot recover, a love or person that wasn’t real & without a support system to return to, or light at the end of the tunnel. Be gentle. 💛

If it turns out to be nothing… that’s a win & you still get to sleep with happy head space!

We are grateful as a company to have cared for hundreds of Seniors over the years & help keep them safe from scam.

"Today I painted a new residents nails at work and as we were going over colors, she mentioned she wanted clear. The only thought that came to my mind was "CLEAR?! That's no fun." I asked her why she wanted clear and she said, "My hands are ugly, I don't want to draw attention to them." I then carefully responded with, "Your hands tell the story of your life. They tell the story of love, of care and adventure. These hands have touched and held things that most people can only wish to one day." And with that, she went with the color pink for her nails.

Cloudnine in Idaho Falls is hiring caregivers!!

Tasks of a caregiver include helping our clients with activities of daily living, domestic tasks in the home, errands, transporting clients to & from appointments, activities, meal prep, shopping, groceries & other essential personal services.

Ideal applicant would be caring, empathetic, flexible & mentally well.

Ability to multi task & learn simple software for smart phones is necessary. Must be able to pass background check, have a valid drivers license & auto insurance.
