Qal-Tek just expanded our A2LA Scope of Accreditation — again.
Certificate #2521.01, revised January 2026. Five new line items added to an already extensive ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibration scope covering three accredited facilities: Idaho Falls (ID), Round Rock (TX), and Mesa (AZ) and our Mobile Calibration OSCaR Trucks.
What we've added:
— Slump Cones (ASTM C143)
— Slump Cone Tamping Rods (ASTM C143)
— LVDT calibration in mm (previously inches only)
— Water Baths (ambient to 82°C, ±0.21°C CMC)
— Chart Loggers (ambient to 82°C, ±0.21°C CMC)
This isn't cosmetic. Adding slump cone and tamping rod calibration means CMT labs running concrete testing can now get ISO 17025 accredited calibrations from the same lab handling their nuclear density gauges, gyratory equipment, sieves, and proctor molds. One vendor. One tracking system. One audit trail.
The LVDT expansion to millimeters and water bath accreditation fill gaps that previously required routing equipment to separate providers.
Twenty years of continuous scope expansion. That's not a slogan — it's documented in every revision of this certificate.
If your lab needs accredited calibration for CMT equipment, nuclear gauges, or health physics instruments, the scope is public record: A2LA Certificate #2521.01. Also linked in the comments.
Need it done on-site? Our OSCAR mobile calibration trucks bring the full accredited lab to your location — same ISO 17025 scope, same documentation, no shipping delays or equipment downtime.
