Idaho Innovation Center The Idaho Innovation Center is a non-profit organization designed to help small businesses succeed.

As a business incubator and accelerator, the IIC is a starting point for entrepreneurs who need inexpensive office space to lease. We have available anything from a single office, up to several thousand square feet. We also provide a number of other services such as reception service, phone systems, secretarial service, office supplies and equipment, conference rooms and others that are helpful to

start a successful, small business. Once a business has had sufficient time to start and accelerate growth, entrepreneurs are able to “hatch” out of the incubator into off campus space as they continue their growth and expansion. Typically, businesses can plan to stay in the IIC for two to three years.

Since the work we do is pretty flexible and can be done remotely, we focus on hiring local stay at home moms in our community. We also teach classes for low cost at the Innovation Center and offer free consultations & marketing audits to local businesses!

The farm provides jobs and community opportunities to interact with nature, learn about sewing, growing, tending flowering plants and arranging cut flowers. We also provide fundraising opportunities to groups and a photography and event location.

Bugbee Bookkeeping has seen steady growth over the years since leaving the Innovation Center. I have used the lessons learned from there to grow my business to over $100,000/year the last two years. My business is becoming known as a reputable and respected business. In March 2026, we will celebrate 6 years of being open full time. Being able to visit with a mentor when I had issues and struggles that were beyond what I felt I could handle on my own. Bryan always listened and gave great advice that I could use at the time and still use to this day.

LOCAL IMPACT
I was lucky enough to serve on the College of Eastern Idaho Foundation board for several years. While there, I was able to help support education of the students by offering scholarships to those who applied so that they could chase their own dreams. Over the last four years, I have hired interns from BYU-I and CEI so that they will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain experience in the accounting field. This has given me an opportunity to give back and help the next generation of bookkeepers and accountants. I was given an opportunity to work with people who were starting businesses so that they could get their books set up properly from the beginning.
