✨ Meet the Team: Tabatha Flannery ✨

"The best part of my job? Combining my love of numbers with my love of animals."

That's what makes Tabatha such a great fit for our team.

As our Accounting Ranger, Tabatha joined JF Bell Group in 2025, bringing more than a decade of accounting experience and a genuine passion for helping veterinary practices succeed. She loves diving into the details, solving problems, and continuing to grow alongside the clients we serve.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tabatha earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management before returning to school to complete her accounting certificate—a testament to her commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.

When she's not keeping financials on track, you'll find her cheering on her favorite Cincinnati teams (Who Dey! 🏈), spending time with her family, or enjoying the outdoors.

We're grateful to have Tabatha's dedication, positive attitude, and passion for helping veterinary practices thrive on our team. 💙

Day 3 exciting lecture delivered by Dr. Karen Bolten about AI in veterinary medicine today. She is incredibly knowledgeable in this space, and I always appreciate hearing from people who understand both the potential of AI and how it can actually be applied in our industry. So much is changing, so quickly—and there is so much opportunity for veterinary teams willing to stay curious, learn, and adapt. 🤖🐾

✨ Meet the Team: Suzanne Venter ✨

"Numbers don't scare me—they tell a story, and I love making sure that story ends in success."

That's Suzanne in a nutshell.

As our Snout & Figures Analyst, Suzanne brings more than 20 years of bookkeeping and veterinary office management experience to our team. Since joining JF Bell Group in 2024, she's been helping veterinary practices understand their numbers, make informed decisions, and build stronger businesses.

One of Suzanne's favorite parts of her work is that our clients become more than just clients—they become practices she genuinely roots for. Helping them grow and succeed is what makes her work so rewarding.

Originally from South Africa, Suzanne moved to the U.S. in 2018 and has found the perfect way to combine her passion for numbers with her love of the veterinary profession.

When she's away from the keyboard, you'll find her spending time with her family, exploring new places, or spoiling her senior rescue pup, Ella—also known as Shmoda Moda—the love of her life. (Her husband is aware. 😄)

And if you ever hear Suzanne talking about her lifelong dream of owning a grumpy old Chihuahua that tolerates exactly one person... don't worry. She fully expects that person to be her.

We're so grateful to have Suzanne's expertise, heart, and sense of humor on our team. 💙

Great session with Dr. Amanda Donnelly at on the importance of earning trust in veterinary practice. Trust isn’t automatic—it’s built through consistency, communication, transparency, and follow-through with our teams and our clients. Such an important reminder that strong practices are built on strong relationships.

Great discussion at VetPartners today on pharmacy: in-house or online?

I had the opportunity to join a panel and share industry benchmarks and the financial perspective behind this increasingly important conversation.

My takeaway? Support your online pharmacy as much as you can. It provides convenience for clients, expands access to products without expanding your shelves, protects practice cash flow, and reduces the labor and carrying costs tied to inventory management.

That doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for an in-house pharmacy—but it does mean we should be intentional about what we stock and why.

Great conversation with different perspectives—and exactly the kind of discussion our industry needs!

Rhys spoke about the importance of scorecards—and I couldn’t agree more.

If it matters, measure it. And if you measure it, make it visible!

A simple scorecard keeps the goal in front of the team, shows progress, and helps everyone understand exactly what they can influence.

Great reminder today at . 📊🐾
