Jennifer started JSD Apparel in 2018 and has grown it into a thriving custom apparel company serving schools, businesses, sports teams, and local brands. Through personalized service and a commitment to community impact, she helps organizations create apparel that builds connection and pride.

Clay Hansen is an experienced attorney specializing in commercial real estate, business transactions, trust administration, and estate planning. After serving as Legal Counsel for Ball Ventures for more than a decade, he now helps clients navigate complex legal matters and protect what matters most to them.

We’re excited to have both Jennifer and Clay as part of the RizeX network and look forward to the connections, expertise, and leadership they’ll bring to our community.

Ryan Harris challenges the room with a simple question: which one are you right now? The way he described the drifter, the casual, the operator, and the owner was something almost everyone in the room could relate to in one way or another. It was such a good reminder that growth starts with honest self-reflection and the environments we choose to put ourselves in.

At RizeCon 2026, Amy Schutte shared a powerful perspective on why so many AI rollouts fail inside companies. Her talk, “Stop Treating AI Like a Tool,” explored the human side of AI adoption, and how AI doesn’t just change workflows, it changes how people see themselves at work.

In one moment from her talk, she reflects on the immediate tension that showed up as AI began reshaping her world. She realized it wasn’t something you could afford to ignore or panic over, but something that required a different kind of response entirely.
That idea sits at the center of her message: AI isn’t just a systems shift, it’s an identity shift.

Drawing from her experience working with Fortune 500s and growth-stage founders, Amy introduced The Kármán Effect, a six-move framework for leading teams through that shift: recognize, responsibility, reframe, repetition, recalibrate, reflect.
