With all the unfortunate news lately, we wanted to share some positive news. We recently won the Tahoe Quarterly Mountain Home Award for Best Lakefront! This particular property was quite the challenge as it was situated on a very steep lot with minimal coverage. The end result is a stunning home for a full time local family. Last month I had the opportunity to be part of the Tahoe Quarterly Home Tour judges panel. This is an event that I participate in annually and while it is quite time consuming, it is also very inspirational. As we toured more than a dozen local homes, I was reminded of how grateful I am to be part of the talented Lake Tahoe design community. Thank you Tahoe Quarterly and my fellow panelists for a wonderful tour experience and best of luck to all the nominees!

TRPA Consulting services - as you may have heard, "Land Coverage Exemptions for Residential Improvements Special incentives are now available to homeowners through the updated Code of Ordinances that may exempt certain structures from land coverage". This is a change that went into effect earlier this summer and was surrounded by a lot of confusion and questions as to exactly how to take advantage of the new code.

Since then, Elise Fett & Accociates, Ltd. Architecture & Engineering have successfully submitted multiple projects that take advantage of the new code and would be happy to offer our services to anyone who would like to do the same.
