QC Plastics is seeking a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys a job with variety. If you are the “handy” person that everyone calls when something needs to be fixed, we want to talk to you!

Even if you haven’t worked in a maintenance position before or haven't had formal training/certifications, you might be just the team member that we are looking for. If you understand how machines work and have a good work ethic, we will train you to do the rest.

As a full-time Maintenance Assistant/Machine Operator, your main tasks will be performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and making necessary repairs on production machines, miscellaneous equipment, and plant facilities.

The remainder of your time will be spent setting up and running CNC mills, lathes, routers, and thermoforming equipment to make custom plastic parts.

1st Shift, 4-day work week (Production hours are Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM to Thursday 4:30 PM. There may be some schedule flexibility with this position, if desired.)

As a full-time Shipping Clerk/Machine Operator, you will spend part of your time packaging, measuring, and labeling customer orders as well as arranging shipments through various vendors. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory counts, organizing raw materials, and completing paperwork (such as BOLs and packing lists). The remainder of your time will be spent making custom plastic parts using CNC mills, lathes, routers, and thermoforming equipment.

A willingness to learn new things and the ability to communicate respectfully with all team members is essential.
