Assurance Security has an immediate opening for a part time Warehouse Receiver. As the Warehouse Receiver , you will have the opportunity to help feed Kansas City. The Warehouse Receiver will play an important role in ensuring delivery trucks are checked in and routed to the appropriate bay. You will thrive in this role if you’re detail-oriented, personable and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
Collect delivery information and invoices from truck drivers.
Import information into the provided Excel and paper spreadsheets.
Record trucks time entering and exiting the facility.
Route trucks awaiting deliveries.
Communicate with truck drivers and warehouse staff to maintain a flow of traffic.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge & Experience Requirements
High School diploma or general equivalency (GED) required.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
1-year experience in a similar job or field or any equivalent combination of education, training, or certification preferred.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to walk short distances in inclement weather.
Positive, can do attitude is a must.
