One of our customers just purchased a few new restaurants and the cameras are down in several location. By the end of the day we will have the cameras back up and this wire mess cleaned up! They just spent a ton of cash on the purchase so we will be upgrading their system to some new technology in stages.

Assurance Security has an immediate opening for a part time Warehouse Receiver. As the Warehouse Receiver , you will have the opportunity to help feed Kansas City. The Warehouse Receiver will play an important role in ensuring delivery trucks are checked in and routed to the appropriate bay. You will thrive in this role if you’re detail-oriented, personable and highly organized.
Key Responsibilities
Collect delivery information and invoices from truck drivers.
Import information into the provided Excel and paper spreadsheets.
Record trucks time entering and exiting the facility.
Route trucks awaiting deliveries.
Communicate with truck drivers and warehouse staff to maintain a flow of traffic.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge & Experience Requirements
High School diploma or general equivalency (GED) required.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
1-year experience in a similar job or field or any equivalent combination of education, training, or certification preferred.
Required Skills & Abilities
Detail-Oriented: Provides information in a usable form and on a timely basis to others who need to act on it; Maintains a checklist, schedule, calendar etc. to ensure details are not overlooked; Writes down important messages or communications so the details are not lost or forgotten
Approachable: Is easy to approach and talk to; spends the extra effort to put others at ease; builds rapport well; is a good listener.
Organized: Can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently arranges information and files in a useful manner.
Communication: Able to communicate clearly and succinctly with both incoming truck drivers and Warehouse staff.
Problem Solving: Takes initiative to troubleshoot challenges, routing and maintaining the flow of traffic.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to walk short distances in inclement weather.
Positive, can do attitude is a must.
