Made a few hour round trip down to central Iowa this weekend to pick up the future of our herd. He’s going to be affectionately known on the farm as ‘Big Daddy’ - yes I’m not really sure why I thought the kids should be in charge of naming the breeding stock 😂🐷

Stopped out to check pigs today and got them topped off with feed, fresh water, and clean bedding. With this heat, they’ve been spending most of their time in the mud hole or laying in front of the fan. They’re growing well, and we still have a few available for locker later this summer. They’ll be ready in time to fill your freezer for the holiday season. Send us a message if you’d like more information or want to reserve one!! 🐽🐷
