Kenton County residents (proof of residency required) can drop off electronics, yard debris, mattresses (limit 2 per household), appliances, scrap metal, tires (limit 8 per household), and more—for free (some fees may apply for certain items like Freon appliances or extra tires).

📍 Locations & Hours
• Kenton County Public Works (420 Independence Station Road, Independence, KY) – 8 AM–4 PM both days (tires & appliances accepted here only)
• Piner Elementary (2845 Piner Ridge Road, Morning View, KY) – 8 AM–4 PM Friday, 8 AM–1 PM Saturday

Whether you’ve lived here for years or you’re new to the area, this is a great way to keep our community clean and beautiful. What’s one thing you’re excited to finally clear out this spring? Tag a neighbor or friend who might join you—we’d love to welcome new faces too!
