Lawrence and Robert with Dragonfly MSP were just normal tech guys operating out of their home before making the leap to the EC with us, and they haven't looked back since 👋 They are a full-service IT company that offers anything from basic tech support, to full management of all your IT essentials including office equipment, door access, camera operating systems, data management, AI integrations and everything in-between 🛜

SantaCaliGon is about more than a festival… it’s about COMMUNITY. 💙

The Ennovation Center is always proud to be part of SantaCaliGon Days!

We love volunteering, visiting with our community, seeing familiar faces and, of course, checking in with some of our Ennovation Center startups and the many other incredible small businesses and vendors that make this Independence tradition so special.

This year, we were proud to once again serve as Booth Ambassadors and sponsor a golf cart to help support the event and the people who make it happen.

For us, being part of SantaCaliGon isn’t just about showing up for a festival… it’s about showing up for our community.

We love seeing Independence come alive, supporting entrepreneurs, meeting visitors and working alongside the volunteers and organizations who pour so much into making this longtime tradition possible.

We’re already looking forward to next year!

Last night’s severe storms caused devastating damage to vendor booths at SantaCaliGon Days, bringing an unexpected early end to the festival for many of the small businesses, makers, artists and food entrepreneurs who worked so hard to be there.

At the Ennovation Center, we know just how much goes into preparing for an event like SantaCaliGon.

For a small business owner, a vendor booth isn’t just a booth.

It represents inventory. Equipment. Supplies. Hours of preparation. Lost sales. And, in many cases, a significant investment made with the hope of having a successful weekend.

A natural event can change all of that in a matter of minutes.

Now it’s our community’s turn to show up for them.

Visit Independence has put together a list of the 2026 SantaCaliGon vendors so we can continue to shop, follow, share and support these businesses even though their festival weekend was cut short.

A BIG Thank You to Councilman John Perkins

As John’s time representing District 1 comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you.

John has been a friend and supporter of the Ennovation Center, our small business community, and the entrepreneurs and people who work every day to make Independence a better place. We are grateful for the time, attention, and genuine effort he has given to our community.

Public service isn’t always easy — and it isn’t always appreciated nearly enough. But kindness, accessibility, a willingness to listen, and simply showing up for the people you serve matter.

John, thank you for showing up for us. Thank you for listening. Thank you for supporting our entrepreneurs and small businesses, and for caring about the people working hard to make the City of Independence such a special place to call home.

Your service has made a difference, and we want you to know that it has been appreciated.

As this chapter comes to a close, we wish you nothing but happiness, success, and many great adventures in whatever comes next.

We love running into our Ennovation Center businesses out in the community! 💚💙🚚

We spotted Full-E-Loaded and Nonnie’s Shaved Ice Treats at the Independence Chamber’s Food Truck Friday… and of course, we had to stop by!

There’s something pretty special about seeing entrepreneurs we’ve worked with out there serving customers, building their businesses, and doing their thing. These are the moments that remind us why we love what we do at the Ennovation Center.

And a big THANK YOU to the Independence Chamber of Commerce for hosting Food Truck Friday and creating opportunities for small businesses like these to get in front of the community. We also appreciate the support of Mayor Kevin King and his family! Supporting local entrepreneurs takes all of us… and events like this make a difference.

If you see one of our Ennovation Center food trucks around town, stop by, grab something delicious, and show them some love!

Small businesses supporting our community… and our community supporting small businesses. That’s how it should work.
