In a time when people are still choosing silence in the face of oppression and violence, I will always ALWAYS make it loud and clear that I am a safe space for all.

I will continue to capture sweet, loving, everyday moments for my clients because EVERYONE deserves to feel seen, loved and safe in this world. And I will ALWAYS use discretion and respect my clients wishes to not be posted online for safety and privacy reasons.

For those of you who need reminding, EVERY single aspect of life is political not because it should be, but because some people have built a world and a system where the color of someone's skin, who someone loves, what someone believes, and the environment we're trying to protect have all been politicized. It ALL matters.

If you don't see that the regime in power is encouraging and perpetuating hate and violence that will sooner than later affect you, too, if you think this is all OK...well, I truly hope that you take your business elsewhere because I have no space on my schedule for you.

But to everyone else...

To the ones just trying to get by. To the ones who just want to live their everyday lives without fear. To the ones who are exhausted, frightened, angry, tender and fully human...I SEE YOU.

I SEE YOU. And I will always do what I can to help you feel safe and seen.

I remember those first days and weeks after losing Moe like it was yesterday. The one thing that helped me through the immense pain as I grieved and tried to heal from one of the biggest losses of my life was photographs. All of the photos I had captured over his ten years of life with us. The sweet moments, the silly ones, the adventures, the love, the tenderness...every moment of loving Moe.

Kate reached out to me recently, hoping to capture their sweet family while they were still a family of four, before they had to say goodbye to their Mia...their big mastiff baby. They didn't know when, but they knew it was soon that they would have to release her from her battle with cancer.

They had hoped they would have more time. We all hope for more time. We all think we will have more time. But time is not promised and, with tears and a broken heart, I read the sweet text that I received just a day later that they said their goodbyes.

I'm so honored that they trusted me with these final portraits together as a family of four. Sessions like this were *always* important to me...but since losing Moe they hold a whole new level of importance, value and urgency.

Kate, Luis and Winston... my heart grieves with yours. I hope the portraits and all the little details captured of Mia bring you comfort in the coming days, weeks and years.

2025 asked a lot of me.

There was deep grief, a wild hormonal rollercoaster, and more life lessons than I ever requested.

And somehow… it was also a really beautiful year for my business. I connected with more incredible humans here in Indianapolis than I have in years, and those connections carried me more than I can ever explain.

As I step into this new year, I’m hoping for a little more gentleness from the Universe, deeper self-acceptance of where I am, and space to explore which parts of the old me belong in this next chapter.

I’m looking forward to continuing to find joy in creativity - for myself, for my existing clients and for the amazing new clients I haven’t met yet.

I SO very much love branding sessions with small businesses but the BIGGEST honor? That's when another photographer chooses me as their branding photographer. I mean, come on. The TRUST it takes for a photographer to have to give that control to someone else to document them... it's no small thing. It's kind of a big fu***ng deal.

Summer is slowly slipping toward her quiet goodbye, my friends.

The forest greens are deep now, but soon enough they’ll be fading into gold and rust.

Time with these lush forests is limited, and so are the last spots for a Summer 2025 session. 🌿✨

Last night was a dream. ✨

One of those sessions where everything just clicked - the light, the energy, the laughter, the trust. I’m still riding the high of it all today.

I’m endlessly grateful for the humans who not only believe in my work, but hand me their vision and say, “Do what you do!” That kind of trust is magic, and it’s where my BEST work is born.

I can't WAIT to dig into this session!
