Hey there! My name is Brittany and I am the heart and soul behind Slate of Grace Sign Company. Slate of Grace was born in 2016 in Southern Illinois, at a little shop called Bella Sofia Threads, where I first discovered my interest in chalk. It was here that I began to play with letters and really build an interest in hand lettering. Lucky for me, all of my friends began getting engaged and married

, which was the perfect opportunity for me to expand my love for lettering through event signs! I love to try new things and play with new materials! In "real life" I am a coffee-drinking English as a Second Language teacher who enjoys running in the city, Dave Matthews Band, corny dad jokes, exploring the world, and eating more sushi than is probably healthy.
