After more than a decade at Catalyst, Mechanical Engineer Steven Kontney has officially closed out his final project and begun a well-earned retirement.

Since joining Catalyst in January 2016, Steven has brought his engineering experience, problem-solving ability and steady approach to countless projects. More importantly, he's been a valued colleague and a trusted partner to the clients he's worked with over the years.

We celebrated Steven's retirement this week with the Catalyst team, marking the end of a great chapter and the beginning of a new one.

Steven, thank you for everything you've contributed to Catalyst, our clients and the people you've worked alongside.

Product development rarely moves in a straight line.
Requirements evolve. Materials behave differently than expected. Manufacturing introduces constraints that aren't always visible in CAD.

The challenge isn't eliminating every unknown before moving forward. It's knowing which unknowns are worth resolving before they become expensive commitments.

That's where validation tooling can play an important role.

Done with production intent in mind, validation tooling gives development teams an opportunity to learn, adjust, and make better-informed decisions before committing to full production.
