At Group 1001, we believe in the power of community and the impact of giving back. We're grateful to the hundreds of employees who participated in our annual 1001 Hours of Impact corporate volunteer program. Over the summer, we secured 1,834+ volunteer hours benefiting our communities.

Our impact:
👉 12,240 meals packed
👉 600 families supported in a community food pantry
👉 90 girls empowered at All-Star basketball and STEM camp
👉 42 K-6 girls engaged at a STEM camp
👉 1 home built with Habitat for Humanity
👉 1 playhouse built for a veteran family with Habitat for Humanity

And that's a wrap on the 2025 summer intern season! The graduation event took place at the Brickyard Crossing for one last round of golf and a celebration at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway 🎓

From partnering with for golf lessons and leadership panels with Group 1001 executives to volunteering in the community to gaining valuable connections and leadership skills, our interns had a unique opportunity to look beyond office walls and experience .

Last month, we kicked off the third annual 1001 Hours of Impact, our summer corporate volunteer program. Exciting news: we have reached our goal of 1,001 volunteer hours in six weeks! From building walls with Habitat for Humanity of Boone County (Indiana) to organizing and cleaning shelter areas at the Humane Society Boone County to all our remote employees doing good in their communities, we are committed to creating a better tomorrow.

The work isn't finished yet. Throughout July and August, we will continue to build on this momentum, making a positive difference in our communities.

Our summer interns are participating in the FairWays to Leadership program, which features an immersive curriculum that uses golf to teach leadership and networking skills. As part of the program, Chief People Officer Jayne Korowski and VP of Talent Management Josh White led an executive speaker series and spoke to the interns about career planning and leading with integrity.

Some insight they shared:
💡Work really hard and embrace opportunities by saying yes.
💡Everyone makes mistakes. Don't let mistakes overshadow your greatness.

Together with our Black employee resource group, Empower 1001, we recently celebrated Juneteenth at our headquarters in Zionsville, IN. We extend our gratitude to Congressman André Carson for delivering the keynote, to the Kenyettá Dance Company for their performance, and to Diva's Catering for the soul food lunch.

On Juneteenth, we commemorate the end of slavery in the U.S. and celebrate the contributions, culture, and history of Black Americans while continuing our shared journey forward.

Group 1001 and Pride 1001, our LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG), were proud to participate in Pride events 🌈.

Employees based at our Zionsville, Ind., headquarters walked in the Indy Pride Parade, and employees based at our Waltham, Mass., office joined together for the Boston Pride Celebration and a parade viewing party.
