Gem Class

Gem Class Breaking barriers to success without breaking a sweat.

04/15/2026

A little bit of what the day actually looks like right now.

Moving between spaces, taking calls across clients, shifting from strategy to ex*****on to decision-making—and then back again.

This is the part of building a communications business that doesn’t always get seen.

Managing multiple conversations at once.
Holding context across different clients.
And still making space to build what’s next in real time.

It’s not linear. It’s layered.

And it requires a different kind of focus to stay present in all of it.

Still building. Still scaling. Still in it. Still hungry for more. 🔑

I built a bicoastal communications agency in under two years. Not because I had the perfect plan. Because I understood one thing deeply: community and communication are not soft skills. They are the infrastructure that scales businesses. 📌

Polished Strategic Communications grew because I invested in relationships before revenue. In clarity before content. In showing up consistently in rooms where the work actually mattered.

And somewhere in the middle of building that, I started noticing a gap.

Founders—especially women, minority, veteran, and disabled business owners—are doing incredible work with no real infrastructure for learning how to communicate it, lead with it, or grow because of it.

So, I’m building the glue in the gap.

Gem Class is for the founders who are in it right now—figuring it out, showing up anyway, and deserving more than advice that doesn’t account for where they actually are.

This is what that work in progress looks like. Tap in.

If you support women, that has to include how we price our work. Including how we talk about pricing. 💯

Women aren’t underpricing because the work isn’t there—they’re underpricing because they were never taught how to anchor in it. That’s the gap.

And it’s on us to close it.

We didn’t get here on our own. There were women before us who pushed, corrected, and raised the standard. We have to do the same.

Not just by encouraging, but by being direct when something’s off. Have the conversation, build into her, and empower her to build into someone else down the line. Let’s make that the new standard.

It’s easy to look around and feel like you should be further ahead.

Entrepreneurship makes other people’s timelines visible in ways that can quietly shake your confidence—even when you’re moving exactly how you’re meant to be.

What I’ve learned is this: the most important thing you can do is stay connected to your own path.

Not rushing.
Not comparing.
Just continuing.

There is nothing behind you. There is only forward.

Save this for the moments you need to come back to yourself.

02/04/2026

If you’re a founder or small business owner, don’t skip this.

These 20 seconds will help you rethink how you introduce your brand—not to sound polished, but to sound clear.

Most entrepreneurs aren’t struggling because their work isn’t good. They struggle because they don’t know how to talk about it in a way that leads to real conversations and real business.

Watch this. Save it.

You’ll want it the next time someone asks, “So what do you do?”📌

People ask what a Gem Session is really like.

It’s not a class.
It’s not coaching fluff.
It’s not me talking at you.

It’s a working session where we think through your business together—what’s unclear, what’s heavy, and what needs a decision so you can actually move.

If you’re done collecting advice and ready for clarity, this is the space.

If you’ve been buried in the day-to-day, this is your reminder:

It’s okay to step away for a little while.
To meet someone for coffee.
To get into community.
To let your mind breathe.

Those moments are what help you come back clearer, steadier, and more strategic.

Building doesn’t only happen at your desk. 🤩

Today’s Gem Session was all about helping a founder get clear, confident, and strategic about what’s next. 💎

This is the work I love—supporting entrepreneurs as they sharpen their message, focus their marketing, and build businesses that actually support the life they want to live (yes, including that pillow money).

Gem Sessions are where clarity meets ex*****on. And Gem Class is just getting started…

More gems coming soon. ✨

Some days are hard.
Some days are heavy.
And somehow… I still love this work.

The building. The learning. The becoming.

Entrepreneurship isn’t easy, but even on the days that stretch you, there’s growth happening underneath it all.
If you’re in it right now—keep going.

You’re closer than you think. 📌

Okay, hear me out… you don’t always need *another networking group and *another certification. Maybe you just need to sit down with an expert and get down to business. 🎯

Erica’s Gem Session was filled with ah-ha moments, quick realizations, and a lot of vulnerability as she works to transform her businesses and scale her impact. She left with:

💎 A better understanding of her brand story.
💎 Clarity around leveraging that story with grantors.
💎 Knowledge about what tools can help her automate and scale without resource drain.

Gem Sessions aren’t about solving for [ e v e r y t h i n g ] they’re about getting focused on a few key areas of impact and moving quickly into action to measure outcomes. Strategize ➡️ Implement ➡️ Refine.
